Who Was Skylar Neese?
Skylar Neese was a 16-year-old girl who was residing in Star City. It is a sleepy town in West Virginia. She was born to David and Mary and the poor thing is that she is the only child of this couple. And now, she is no more with them.Â
Skylar was a very good student and she was an achiever in academics. She was a loyal and friendly girl. Everyone knows about Skylar, as she was a bubbly and pretty girl. She stayed loyal to her friends. But her disappearance left her parents and close friends in a state of depression.
Skylar Neese Friends’ Eddy And Shoaf:
In 2012, Skylar Neese met her two friends, Sheila Eddy and Rachel Shoaf. At first, she met Eddy while they were studying in an elementary school. Later, they met Shoaf at the high school in their freshman year.Â
At first, Eddy and Neese were closest friends. Soon after meeting Shoaf, she became close with Neese. This created a bridge between Eddy and Neese. They even started to compete with Eddy by joining hands.

Skylar did a part-time in a fast-food restaurant. On July 5, 2012, after reaching home from her job, Skylar escaped through a window of her parent’s apartment. Since Skylar’s family lived on the ground floor, it is easy for Skylar to escape through the window.
Neese came out of her house to meet her friends Eddy and Shoaf. They were waiting in a car to pick up her. The next morning, Neese’s parents didn’t see Neese in her room. Instead, they saw the bench and window screen in the closet. Then, they examined the Surveillance footage present outside of the building. It showed that the Neese was escaping through the window. But the footage didn’t capture their car or the people taking Neese out.Â
Then, her parents informed the police about Neese’s disappearance. They investigated all of Neese’s friends. Later on, Eddy and Shoaf informed that Neese returned home at midnight.
Was Neese Murdered By Her Close Friends?
Eddy was asking the regular updates from Neese’s parents about Neese. But, they never guessed that one of the murderers is Eddy. The police couldn’t guess what happened to Neese until Shoaf agreed to her murder. After six months of murder, Shoaf was the first to meet the police to confess guilt. In December 2012, Shoaf was suffering from a nervous breakdown.Â
But Eddy didn’t admit her cruel act until Shoaf confessed the guilt. Shoaf took the police authorities to show where they kept Neese’s body. At last, the culprits behind this murder are Eddy and Shoaf.
