Students who have passed their Class 10 (Matriculation) exams can now apply online through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) for admissions into Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, and Vocational streams in various schools and colleges across Bihar.

Important Dates & Timeline

  • Application Start Date: April 24, 2025

  • First Merit List: June 4, 2025

  • Second Merit List: July 15, 2025

  • Third Merit List: July 28, 2025

  • Spot Admission Window: August 4–5, 2025

  • Final Admission Deadline: August 10, 2025

Who Can Apply?

Students who have passed their Class 10 from:

  • Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)

  • CBSE

  • ICSE

  • Any recognized state board
    are eligible to apply for Intermediate courses through OFSS Bihar.

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply Online

  1. Visit the Official OFSS Bihar Portal

    • Go to ofssbihar.net and click on “Intermediate Admission 2025”.

  2. Register Yourself

    • Enter your roll number, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.

    • Complete the OTP verification.

  3. Fill the Common Application Form (CAF)

    • Provide personal details and academic information.

    • Choose your preferred stream: Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, or Vocational.

    • Select up to 20 schools/colleges in priority order.

  4. Upload Required Documents

    • Class 10 Marksheet

    • Passport Size Photograph

    • Signature

    • Category Certificate (if applicable)

  5. Pay the Application Fee

    • The application fee is ₹350.

    • Payment can be made online (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking) or through e-challan.

  6. Submit and Print Confirmation

    • Verify all details before submission.

    • Download and print the acknowledgment receipt for future reference.

Selection Process

  • Admission is purely merit-based, considering Class 10 marks and reservation quotas.

  • Merit lists are published in three phases.

  • Students will receive notifications through SMS and email regarding their selection.

  • Selected candidates must complete admission within the given deadlines.

Spot Admission: Last Opportunity

Students who were not selected in the merit lists can apply under the spot admission round.
In this phase:

  • Students submit a fresh application with their preferred colleges.

  • Colleges will release a final list of selected candidates.

  • Admissions for spot rounds must be completed by August 10, 2025.

Reservation Policy

  • SC: 16% – 20%

  • ST: 1% – 2%

  • No relaxation in application fee for any category (₹350 is fixed for all).
